CALL FOR ENTRIES

The First International Environmental Film Festival, FINCA, is born in the City of Tigre in 2010 with the aim of raising environmental awareness through films.
The event will be a great meeting with many activities for the public to attend to. They will be able watch the best environmental films of the year, shows and art exhibitions, and participate in panel discussions with the presence of experts and environmentalist organizations.
We firmly believe that this is the time to consider the environmental issue as a central problem in all the public agendas, as well as in the homes and in the educational centers.
Our aim is to overcome the prejudice about the exclusiveness of the environmental debate from professionals of the sector. We all live and form part of the ecosystem and therefore the future of the environment depends on us.
Our programming will be characterized for meeting all the formats and genres: documentary, fiction, animation, short films, feature films and national/international productions.  We invite everyone, young and old to participate in the launch of the First International Environmental Film Festival.
FINCA is today more necessary than ever for the task of sensitizing what fall on our shoulders as a society.
