What is a Best Social Practice?
Best Social Practices are contributions determined to improve life conditions. United Nations and international community have defined them as initiatives that have an important impact in the best quality of life of people, they are the result of an effective work among the State, private organisms and civil organizations altogether. They are experiences socially, culturally, environmentally and economically capable of being achieved.
We invite you to visit the web site of the El Agora and expose your experience to the Internacional Prize of Dubai 2008 about Best Social Practices to improve life conditions , given by United Nations www.elagora.org.ar
Why to register in audiovisual way a Best Social Practice ?
From Civil Association El Ágora, we believe that documentary production is a tool of communication of artistic audiovisual quality highly effective to encourage others with motivations, experiences and learned lessons. Because of the richness of the subjects and life stories, the short feature allows to convey in a direct way the values that promote a Best Social Practice.
Why to document a Best Social Practice ?
Because “human beings learn better from stories” .
To communicate a social project is also a way of public engagement. We consider that bettering the communication of social projects has to do with the need of breaking isolation and social fragmentation. And if the idea is to search social gathering, we have to start by sharing, or at least trying to know and understand, the interests of each one. “One of the ways of intervention in this subject is to be familiar with which is strange and making strange the familiar subject”.
